Tim Ward

Tim Ward was born in Barnsley, England in 1968. He studied fine art at Staffordshire University from 1988 to 1990 before moving south to London in order to pursue work in commercial art and design projects. He relocated to New York City in 1999, motivated by the search for inspiration from a new environment. In 2000 he worked with Sol Lewitt on a major installation commissioned by the Embassy Suites Hotel in lower Manhattan.

Ward has exhibited his work in and around New York City and most recently at SALT Art Gallery in Philadelphia, PA in 2010.  He has also completed projects in Chicago, London and Dublin. He currently lives and works in Hastings-On-Hudson, NY.
