The Earth Egg and Worlds Within, Worlds Without series are paintings inspired by meditation. The egg has been a symbol of fertility, potential and manifestation throughout the ages and cultures.
For me these paintings are a visual representation of the interconnection of each other and all life. The earth portrayed as the "earth-egg" gives pause to see the earth in a different light. The earth is rich and fertile but like the egg also fragile, requiring it to be regarded with consciousness and care.
The fragility of the egg may remind us of the preciousness of life, of our planet and of each other. We all share the same breath of the entire universe and thus we are all interconnected. We each are full and pregnant with our own unique potential and inspiration ready to be manifested
We all can choose to either resist or embrace. I hope my paintings inspire encouragement to embrace. May they inspire you to go inward to your own worlds within, to know and honor all the richness.
