I graduated with a commercial arts degree from Edinboro University in Erie, Pennsylvania. I have work as a sign painter, Advertising Art Director, Broadcast Designer and Illustrator. I have lived in Brooklyn, NY since 2000.

My work has shown in San Francisco, Chicago, Key West & New York City and been featured in "New American Paintings", "Cool'eh" Magazine, and "EFX Art & Design" Magazine among others.

Artist Statement

My art is influenced by the artists Henry Darger, Joseph Cornell, Andy Warhol, and Robert Rauschenberg. I am also a big fan of graphic design. My work has an "advertising" feel to it. I believe that we are all consumers of commercial design so I think it gives my work a familiar foundation an audience can relate to.

I like the idea of creating art that appears to have a past (commercial) use, a history, a story. It has "that feel" but the message is a bit abstract. The viewer is invited to imagine for themselves, fill in the blanks.
